    No. You may mail your documents to the Florida Department of State or hire Tally Notary and Apostille Courier Services for same-day hand delivery to the Florida Department of State.


    If you submit your documents in person, you'll receive them the same day. If you mail them to the Florida Department of State, they will be returned by mail. If you use Tally Notary and Apostille Courier Services, we'll return your completed documents using your preferred shipping method.


       

    Processing times vary depending on how your documents are submitted:  

    In person: Typically, the same day. 

    By mail: Approximately 4–6 weeks. 

    Through Tally Notary and Apostille Courier Services: Generally, 1–2 business days.


       

    You have three options:

    · Deliver your documents in person to the Florida Department of State. 

    · Mail your documents to the Florida Department of State.

    An apostille is issued for documents that will be used in countries that are members of the Hague Apostille Convention. An authentication is issued for documents that will be used in countries that are not members of the Hague Apostille Convention.     If your destination country is not a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, your documents will generally require a Certificate of Authentication issued by the Florida Department of State.
